Dressage is practiced here: In the heart of the Teutoburger Forest, in the center of the German horse breeding and dressage training area lies the farm Beckerode. With state-of-the-art equipment, more than 2 hectares of grazing land, the best infrastructure and experienced instructors for humans and horses, all the necessary facets for successful dressage are covered here. The farm takes its name from tradition – the Beckerode farming community was founded around 900 AD and mentioned by name – it was not until 1954 that it became the present-day parish Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. Hof Beckerode has been owned by the Koch family since June 2017. The plant in its current design, has been run by Jürgen Koschel, since put into operation in September 2006. Jürgen Koschel continues to support the team with his international experience in dressage.
